How to Use This Site

Posted by DishragDiarist on March 12, 2011 with 2 Comments

Welcome! Thank you for visiting Dishrag Diaries!
Here’s how you can get the most out of this site:

1. Search

There are two easy ways to find information. The first is to use the search box to the right to search through all of the posts and comments for items of interest, or answers to a specific question. Simply type in your search term and hit Go.

The second way is to use the Categories menu on the right (scroll down a bit). Here you will find headings such as Recipes and Non-Toxic Living.

2. Subscribe

Subscribing means you will never miss a post. It also means that I can grow my site by gaining advertisers and ranking in search engines. You can subscribe either via email, using the Feedburner box on the right hand side (scroll down a bit), or via RSS, using the icon to the left of the tabs at the top of the site.

Your subscription information is always safe with me. It will never be shared.

3. Support

You can support Dishrag Diaries in many ways! The easiest is to always click through my site when visiting Amazon.com. (And ask your friends to do it, too!) You will be taken to the regular Amazon.com site, with the regular prices, and I’ll receive a portion of what you spend – no matter what you spend it on!

Please also support my affiliates and advertisers. When you click through the ads on my page, or on most of the hotlinks for suggested items, I receive a small commission. I only advertise and recommended products that I use myself, and have thoroughly tested and investigated. See the Recommendations tab for specific product suggestions.

Should you be so inclined, you can also support Dishrag Diaries using the Paypal button to the right.

4. Say

Say what you’re thinking! Please feel free to share your comments and questions anywhere on the site. Your questions, thoughts, or even complaints are likely to help someone else, and will help me improve Dishrag Diaries. (I would like to add to the Reader Questions category!)

5. Share

Sharing is easy with the Share button on the bottom right-hand side of all posts. You can easily share a post using Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Digg, email and more. Thank you for helping to spread the word about real nutrition. You could quite literally save someone’s life!

Happy reading!

Hi, I was wondering if you still love your Pampered Chef Stainless Cookware? I am strongly considering purchasing a set! Thank you

Hi, there. Thanks so much for reading. I do still love my PC cookware. I use it multiple times a day, every day. I do have a slight complaint… My largest skillet has warped a bit. This is usually due to doing something like putting a hot pan into cold water or something like that, which I have not done. I was going to exchange it, but PC has made their return process a little more arduous than I’d remembered. I guess it’s laziness on my part, I didn’t feel like going through all of that. Now every time I use that skillet (quite often, b/c it’s an amazing size!) I’m a little irritated. But that’s my only negative. They still look and perform great. (If you decide to purchase, make sure to hose a party and get the discount!)
