We All Scream for Ice Cream!

I’m taking a break from some pretty research-intensive posts I’m working on to write this fun – and delicious – one. :P

My wonderful husband took our youngest off for a Daddy-Daughter Date at King’s Dominion on Sunday – along with driving the teenager and his friends down – and so after some morning babysitting I had my day, and my house, to myself. Ice cream was definitely needed to celebrate. The creation I came up with so good that I have to share it, along with some other recipes. But first…

Tropical Breakfast Smoothie

My Trip to a Confinement Dairy

It really sounded innocent enough: A field trip to a local farm – family-owned, nonetheless – with my daughter’s preschool. “How wonderful!” I thought. And although I knew they probably wouldn’t sell any raw dairy items, I still figured I’d probably stock up on some yummy cheese or maybe some fresh butter.
